Summer 2024 Financial Aid

2023-2024 Financial Aid Awards

The Office of Financial Aid will begin sending financial aid offers for the 2023-2024 academic year beginning late February for new students and mid-March for continuing students. Summer Session 2024 financial aid will be automatically offered to eligible students who are enrolled in summer classes and have completed a 2023-2024 FAFSA beginning mid-April.

For some types of aid a minimum of six credits is required. After students have registered for summer courses, they will be notified of summer financial aid offers via email and can review their financial aid status via RAMweb at that time

Eligibility

Before you may receive any financial aid you have been awarded, you must maintain certain eligibility criteria.

Summer Flexible Payment Plan

Payment plans spread tuition throughout the semester, making it easier for you to plan finances ahead of time.

The flexible payment plan opens April 15, 2024. The enrollment deadline is May 27, 2024. Individuals who are enrolled in the summer payment plan by the deadline can disregard the June 10th billing due date, as they will have withdrawals taken from their designated account in June and July instead of paying by the term billing due date. For more information about the payment plan, refer to the payment plan information page.

Jobs and Summer Employment

Student employment is an opportunity for students to work part time and earn wages to help pay for living expenses.

On- and off-campus jobs in Fort Collins are usually plentiful and flexible over the summer. Learn more through the Career Center, including Jobs, Connecting 1:1 and/or explore the careers and resources tabs.

Job listings for students are available in RAMweb through the Menu > Student Employment.

On-Campus Summer Housing

  • Students may stay in Parmelee Hall and pay only for the time they stay. This provides flexibility and may reduce expenses for non-resident students who want to stay for a summer course or arrive back to campus before the fall semester begins.
  • Visiting summer-only students can also stay in Parmelee.
  • Leases often begin in August, so a stay in Parmelee may help bridge a gap in summer housing.
  • It is also possible to stay in a residence hall between the end of summer term and move-in day for the fall term.

The CSU Mountain Campus offers several summer courses open to all students registering through RAMweb, including new two-week/3-credit options with an environmental focus in art, literature, philosophy/ethics, and history. Experience learning at 9,000 feet!
