Registration is open for summer 2017!

CSU’s Youth Sport Camps are coeducational day camps focusing on sport skill development while promoting the benefits of physical activity and healthy lifestyles for youth. All camps except tennis and golf include swimming every day. Full day camps run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. Care is available before and after camp for $5 per visit.

Baseball/Softball

Grades K-8

Our focus is improving fundamental baseball and softball skills through group and individual instruction, drills, and games. Campers will be separated by sport where appropriate. Learn more

 

Basketball

Grades K-8

Basic ball handling, passing, and shooting skills are developed through group and individual instruction. Learn more

 

Field Sports

Grades K-8

A brief “taste” of several different sports. Designed for campers who may not be interested in a full week of any specific sport and those who simply want to try new things. Activities may include lacrosse, ultimate frisbee, flag football, field hockey, cricket, and others. Campers experience a different sport each day. Learn more

 

FunLIFE Camp

Grades K-8

LIFE stands for “Learning to Improve Fitness and Eating”. While participating in a variety of sport and physical activities, as well as creative classroom activities, campers can enjoy learning about nutrition, fitness, and healthy lifestyles. Noncompetitive activities include field and team games, yoga, hiking, swimming, and other outdoor lifelong pursuits. All new curriculum this year! Learn more

 

Golf Lessons

Grades 1-8

Emphasis is placed on developing basic strokes and game strategy. Camp is held in 2-hour sessions rather than full-day sessions. Due to the short day, golf campers do not participate in swimming. Many campers participate in golf camp, then go directly to a full-day camp. Learn more

 

In-Line Hockey

Grades K-8

This camp provides opportunities to improve skating and puck-handling skills, as well as the chance to compete against similarly matched players. Learn more

 

Lacrosse

Grades 2-8

Basic ball handling, passing, shooting, offensive and defensive skills, game strategy, and teamwork are emphasized through a variety of drills, games, and matches. Learn more

 

Music and Movement

Grades K-8

Jump start the day with martial arts, dance, kick boxing, aerobic games, group sing-alongs, and tumbling. This non-contact camp has activities that involve the learning and development of rhythmic skills to provide our campers with all the tools to discover healthy, active lifestyles. Learn more

 

Outdoor Adventure Camp

Grades 4-8

The Outdoor Adventure Camp is designed to help our campers experience some of what Colorado has to offer in outdoor activities. Depending on weather, our anticipated activities include bicycling, hiking, geo-caching, rock climbing, exploring, and other outdoor pursuits. Due to the off-campus activities, this camp is open only to those campers ages 10 and over. Learn more

 

Smart Fit Girls

Grades 6-8; Girls only

Our newest camp for adolescent girls aims to improve physical and mental well-being. Girls participate in physical activity with a focus on strength training. They also discuss topics including nutrition, bullying, media and self-love, all while building new friendships and working out together! Learn more

 

Soccer

Grades K-6

Passing, ball handling, shooting, offense and defense skills, game strategy and teamwork will be developed through a variety of drills, games, and matches. Learn more

 

Sport Science

Grades 5-8

How does a curve ball curve? What makes my muscles move? Why do I feel better after exercise? Answer these questions and more as we explore the basic sciences involved in physical activity. Learn more

 

Super Sport Camp

Grades K-7

The Super Sport camps combine a different sport each session with enrichment activities like swimming and roller skating. Each two-week camp includes swimming lessons with Red Cross Swim Certification, and field trips! Learn more

 

Tennis Lessons

Grades K-8
